THE KEYS

We've got 5 Major Keys that we'll breakdown and study, We'll know the chord types for each key, we'll learn the Relative Minor Rule that states that for each MAJOR KEY that we know, they each have a RELATIVE MINOR KEY that shares the exact same chords with a different tone center, doubling up out knowledge of music. 

THE CHORDS

Chords are to music what words are to the English language. YouTube can teach you a million chords with no path to know how and when to use them. Not so here. Within each Key that you learn, you'll know the 3 Major, 3 Minor, and a chord substitution for your what we call a Minor 7 b5 diminished chord that will make your keys come to life. 

THE PIVOTS

Chord changes were never intended to be hard to do. Stayce introduces PIVOT and SHIFT notes that allow you to leave certain fingers in position without removing your hand to change chords. When you learn this method, your chords will be like butter.

THE RHYTHMS

Here's where we put it all together. You'll start with simple, easy to strum patterns. You'll then start learning 1/4 note and 1/8 note patterns, and build up to Combo Rhythms that include all the types of rhythms that you build on in this module.

So you're here to learn how to play guitar - that's awesome. The thing is, I've been exactly where you are. I wanted to learn in a day and age where tablature wasn't even invented yet. All you had were your eyes, ears, and the ability to memorize anything you saw or heard. Fortunately for me, I found out that I had a pretty good ear, I had the ability to memorize what I saw other players do, and I had a penchant for music. It didn't happen the FIRST time I tried to learn - my guitar was so badly built that I initially gave up. But a few years later, I  was able to play a pro guitar, and the die was cast - I was hooked.
